Bernie Mac Passes Away! Though He Is Gone He Will Never Be Forgotten

One of America's most favorite foul mouth comedians life has come to an end. I've just got word that legendary funny man Bernie Mac has passed away.
This is what the Chicago Sun-Times has to say:
Mac's publicist reportedly told celebrity gossip site TMZ.com, "Actor/ comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital. No other details are available at this time. We ask that his family's privacy continues to be respected." [Source]
Mac has been in the hospital for several weeks struggling to overcome numerous health issues.
Mac started as a stand-up comedian in Chicago's Cotton Pickin' Club. He won the Miller Lite Comedy Search at the age of 32, at which point his popularity as a comedian began to grow. A performance on HBO's Def Comedy Jam thrust him into the spotlight.
He opened for Dionne Warwick, Redd Foxx and Natalie Cole. He also had a short-lived talk show on HBO titled "Midnight Mac." Later, Mac also began acting in minor roles, and received his big break as Pastor Clever in Ice Cube's 1995 film "Friday". Following that role, Mac would also work in many other movies, and some television appearances, including "Booty Call", "How to Be a Player", "Life" and "What's the Worst That Could Happen?".
Mac was one of the few African American comedic actors to be able to break out of the traditional "black comedy" genre, having roles in the 2001 remake of "Ocean's Eleven" and becoming the new Bosley for the Charlie's Angels sequel "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle". In 2003, he also turned in an impressive performance in a small but important role as Gin "The Store Dick" in Bad Santa.
He also starred in Guess Who?, a comedic remake of the film "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner". He also made an appearance in the 2007 movie "Transformers" as the car salesman, Bobby Bolivia.
Soulja Boy Presents The Show Stoppers, Rick Ross Day On For Next Year, Guest Blogger The Real Jay Dab Chimes In

Soulja Boy steps into CEO role pretty quickly. The beautiful thing about this is it shows the rest of the movement that goes along with what makes Soulja Boy relevant and key to this dance movement. Check out behind the scenes of the new video.
This new group the Show Stoppers are really making the Kid n Play type music of their generation. That’s why if you are above 20-something and hating on these cats then you really are out of touch. When I went in the club a couple of months ago, just to see what the buzz was about, I found that a bunch of kids bouncing around to this dance music and if this shit isn’t hip-hop I really don’t know what is. I’m not saying this is the next big thing; all I’m saying is we need dance groups like this to keep a lane open for the kids of hip-hop to have their own lane.
Now I’m new at this blogging thing, but I’ll just say my piece as a rookie anyway. Instead of posting up anything old thing and calling it news, the least you can do is label it a rumor when you don’t have a credible source. I’m so throw’d by that. I’d rather just pay attention and see how we do in the future, because you know rappers are now and have been for quite some time targets. And the media is using rappers to paint the picture for all black men. And it isn’t fair to either side. What do y’all think?
And also enough with what these blind writers like SOHH Streetz are talking. No the streets not, YOU are talking, so be honest and put ya name out there if you going to go at someone’s personal image. (I guess this is the part of me that thinks this shit is getting corny.) How do you find joy in printing something that you don't know is true or not. That’s wack. You affecting people. And at the end of the day white people can tear each other all day long in the tabloids but we just ain’t got room for it down here. Just own up to your stories, that way if it’s great reporting we can be like great job. But when its bullshit that’s made up for sensational titles, then we can call it what it is. And you won’t understand until it hits home. I’m not even gonna blog on that Rick Ross story I’ll just give you a link to one of my fellow Bloggers Mr, Jonathan Cunningham of the New Times of Broward-Palm Beach. He was actually there. Read here.
And by the way the city has already let it be known to the Rick Ross camp that they want to do it again next year because it was a success for the kids. The incident had nothing to do with the event. So congratulations to the Rick Ross Charities.
